COCOA BEACH, Fla. -- Wind gusts at Cocoa Beach damaged a pier and injured three people on Thursday.
The wind ripped a roof off a restaurant on the pier. The National Weather Service says the wind came from a micro-burst of strong weather. Winds of 50-60 miles per hour were recorded.
Witnesses say the wind came and went quickly. All three people are expected to be ok.
