NAPLES, Fla. - The popular convenience store chain Wawa is about to open their 200th store in Florida, and it will be in Naples.
A grand opening is planned Thursday at 9 a.m. at the new store located on Tamiami Trail East, just north of Collier Boulevard.
This will be the 200th Wawa in the state of Florida since they opened their first Florida location in 2012.
To mark the occasion, every store in the state of Florida will feature a hand-crafted specialty beverage called “The Wawa Florida Sunrise,” a combination of lemonade, orange juice and strawberry. Up to $25,000 of the proceeds from the drink will be donated to Feeding Florida Foodbanks.
