The Lee County Administration Building will reopen for regular business hours on Thursday.
Following the water main break, crews assessed the building and determined the problem stemmed from a first-floor compromised pipe. They continue cleanup and preparation for the building’s reopening.

The Lee County Administration Building in Fort Myers is closed until further notice because of a water main break.
Officials say employees are currently being evacuated.
The Procurement, County Manager’s Office, and County Attorney’s Office are all located in the building.
Officials say some Clerk of Courts’ offices are also located inside the building.
The issue is being addressed, and officials will provide future updates.
