COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- Deputies are releasing video of an aerial rescue overnight in a remote section of Big Cypress National Preserve in Collier County.
According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, crews responded to a call early Monday morning of three off-roaders stuck in the wilderness.
The aviation crew was able to use night vision technology to locate the three people standing atop a swamp buggy around 2:40am. They relayed their location to a larger rescue helicopter, which arrived to lift the victims out of the woods.
They report the victims were cold and tired, but unharmed.
