LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Vice President Mike Pence is expected to arrive in Southwest Florida Friday for a weekend visit in Sanibel.
He is supposed to arrive at Southwest Florida International Airport between 1:15 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, there are flight restrictions in place on Sanibel Island for Friday afternoon through Sunday.
This means no one can operate an aircraft over or in the vicinity.
Last March, VP Pence and his wife Karen were in Sanibel for vacation and attended an Easter service at the Sanibel Community Church.
