LEE COUNTY, Fla. — The Lee County School District is tackling vaping this week.
The public is invited to join the Vaping Prevention Facebook Live town hall meeting on Wednesday night at 6 p.m.
The event will feature topics about the dangers of tobacco and vaping.
The Food and Drug Administration has already declared vaping an epidemic. According to the 2018 Florida Youth Substance Abuse survey, 34.4% of Lee County Middle and High School students have tried vaping.
