CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- Residents in the South Gulf Cove community are reporting a group of juveniles that have been leaving feces on patios of seasonal homes in the neighborhood.
According to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office, several vandalisms have been reported recently in the area of Hallendale Drive.
Residents told deputies that a group of white males ages 13-15 has been seen loitering around homes. In some cases, pool screens have been damaged and feces were left on patios.
Any suspicious activity can be reported to the sheriff's office non-emergency number, 941-639-0013.
Parents are urged to have a conversation with their child about the potential consequences for being with a group of friends who engage in destructive behavior.
Please keep an extra watch on your neighborhood, and report any suspicious activity immediately. If you are specifically in the South Gulf Cove area please call in if you see the described group of juveniles so deputies can make contact with them.
