United Way seeks volunteers to help offload and repackage food

The United Way is looking for volunteers to help sort out food.

Volunteers are needed to offload and repackage eight semi-trucks worth of food boxes.

Shifts and space available to allow for social distancing:

Thursday and Friday 9am – 12 pm, 12:30 pm to 3:30pm

Saturday 8:30am – 12:30pm.

Qualifies for Hours needed for service learning, H.S., Bright Futures.

Location: Lee Civic Center 11831 Bayshore Rd, North Fort Myers, FL 33917

Volunteers needed to open boxes, sort, and repackage.

Please wear closed-toe shoes, bring a mask if you have one and maintain 6-foot separation from others.

To volunteer, you must be at least 14 years old.

You will be asked to adhere to CDC guidelines on social distancing.
