FORT MYERS, Fla. -- The United Way is expanding their services in Southwest Florida. The Bell Tower United Way Community Impact Center held their ribbon cutting Monday.
It's located in the Bell Tower Shops in suite 145. This is right next to where Bistro 41 once was.
This new location will help raise money for local organizations, promote partnerships, and work with visitors to get them help to improve their lives.
Following the ribbon cutting local teachers were presented with supplies donated to Publix's annual school supply drive.
Over the summer, Publix shoppers in Lee County donated the items, which will help about 1500 teachers in the district.
