LEE COUNTY, Fla. — The United Way and Burntwood Tavern are teaming together for a fun-filled Guest Bartending Fundraising event.

All money raised in the United Way Campaign stays in the local community to help support the local human service network.

The event is planned for Wednesday, March 24 from 5 pm to 8 pm.

United Way has assembled two teams of the hippest, most community-minded bartenders in the Fort Myers area to raise online funds that will help those in the community that needs it most.

Guest Bartenders are actively gathering donations via online virtual tip jars and then inviting the community to this dual event held at Burntwood Tavern located at Bell Tower Shops and Gulf Coast Town Center.

“We were happy to partner with United Way in February at the opening of our newest location in Bell Tower for a dining fundraiser”, says Jen Leonard, Director of Marketing & Events for Burntwood Tavern.

CDC Guidelines will be followed to ensure the safety of everyone. All United Way participants will be masked up and sanitizing.

The event will be airing on United Way’s YouTube and Facebook that evening as well. Donors will also be able to Text to Give for the event by texting United to 40691 and choosing which team they’d like to support via the prompts.
