**UPDATE (7:30AM)** -- Coast Guard officials confirm with Fox 4 that the missing boaters have been safely located just south of the Sanibel lighthouse.
Their boat had apparently run out of gas while the group was out cruising the waters Thursday night and decided to anchor in place overnight.
One of the boaters tells Fox 4 that the group was a bit cold overnight, since the boat is not closed in. But they did have food and beverages on board.
The boaters were located Friday morning and towed to the Punta Rassa boat ramp.
