FORT MYERS, Fla. -- We now know the reason behind an overnight police presence at a Fort Myers used car lot earlier this week. Two employees are now facing aggravated battery charges.

The incident took place Tuesday night shortly after 10 p.m. at Affordable Imports on Seaboard Avenue.

According to a Fort Myers Police report, the 47-year-old victim told officers that he was beaten by two co-workers during an argument inside the business.

Officers questioned the men who were identified by the victim and arrested them.

39-year-old Carlos Alberto Rodriguez and 31-year-old Enmanual Paumier-Fernandez are both charged with Aggravated Battery. Paumier-Fernandez was also charged with possession of cocaine.

The victim was treated at the hospital.
