Two teens charged with murder in Immokalee drive-by shooting

IMMOKALEE, Fla. -- Deputies have charged two teenagers with second-degree murder after a fatal drive-by shooting in Immokalee on Tuesday evening.

It happened on Amos Court around 6:21 p.m.

According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, a 33-year-old woman was killed in the shooting.

They say that two males drove up to a home, got out of their vehicle and fired multiple shots into another vehicle with three people inside, killing one of them.

Multiple witnesses identified the suspects by name, leading to the arrests of 19-year-old Jesus Montelongo, III and 17-year-old Malachi Montelongo. They are charged with second-degree murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Fox 4 usually does not identify minors under arrest, except in cases of serious felony charges.
