CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Cape Coral Police responded to a burglary in progress in the 200th block of Southwest 39th Street.
A perimeter was set up to locate the suspects after they fled.
One of the suspects was found in the bushes and the other was found wet from jumping into a canal to avoid arrest.
Anniel Andres Gordon, 19 and Raseem Richard Bienaime, 18 were charged with loitering and prowling and resisting an officer without violence.
Additionally, Gordon's vehicle was found with stolen property inside, he was also charged with burglary.
