PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. -- Detectives are searching for two men who reportedly snatched a $10,000 necklace from a man as he left a Port Charlotte pub last weekend.
According to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office, the suspects have been identified as 22-year-old Khalil Bynum and 23-year-old Deandra' Williams.
The robbery happened around 2 a.m. Sunday at the Paddy Wagon Irish Pub on Tamiami Trail.
Investigators say that Bynum grabbed the necklace, containing a gold ying/yang pendant, off the victim and ran away, joined by Williams.
The victim chased the men, and Williams reportedly pointed a gun at the victim to get him to stop. The suspects got in a car and the victim reached inside in an effort to grab the necklace, but Williams slammed the door on his arm, causing him to drop his phone inside.
Detectives tracked the phone and obtained search warrants at a North Port home and another home in Port Charlotte, but were unable to locate the men.
Bynum and Williams are wanted for Robbery with a Firearm and Grand Theft. Both subjects should be considered armed and dangerous.
