Two men arrested in Lehigh Acres drug bust

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. --- Two Lehigh Acres men are arrested after investigators found marijuana growing inside of a home. 

Lee County Sheriff's were responding to reports of gunshots in the area of the 3400 block of the 56th street west. Deputies say as they walked to the front door, a strong odor of marijuana could be smelled coming from inside the home. 

Two men, later identified as Dennis Rivero-Blanco, 44, and Riccy Ramos-Hernandez, 46, were found hiding on the side of the home. Both Rivero-Blanco and Ramos-Hernandez were detained and placed inside a patrol car while investigators conducted a search inside the home. 

Two Lee County Sheriff's entered the home and located approximately 60 marijuana plants inside the garage. After a thorough search of the home, an additional 20 small marijuana plants, along with two big blue water tubs were found inside of the master bedroom and bathroom. 

Deputies located another room inside the home that appeared to be set up with equipment to grow more marijuana.

Rivero-Blanco and Ramos-Hernandez were arrested and charged with one count of marijuana trafficking, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of marijuana producing.
