A prostitution sting by Naples Police resulted in two arrests Tuesday, at two separate massage parlors.

Min Zhou, 47, was arrested at Sunny Spa at 963 9th Street North, after an undercover detective said she offered to perform a sexual act on him in exchange for money.

"It's the third or fourth time that the police have come and arrested some of the personnel in there," said John Nocera, who owns several businesses on the same block as Sunny Spa.

Later that day, Xiaoren Hou, 42, was arrested at Cloud 9 Massage at 1250 9th Street North, Suite 208. An undercover detective said Hou negotiated "full sex" for $200, and was arrested after taking the money.

Hou and Zhou both face charges of offering to commit prostitution.

Nocera, who owns Supreme Collision Center across the street from Sunny Spa in addition to other businesses, doesn't believe the massage parlor is good for the bottom line of other nearby businesses, or the neighborhood's image.

"The customers go in through the back door," Nocera said. "But the police know this. Naples Police have actually been on watch on this, and they're handling it the best they can."
