LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Deputies have made two arrests in an investigation into the theft of gear from an unmarked Lee County Sheriff's Office vehicle.
According to the sheriff's office, the theft happened on Monday, June 3rd, when a firearm and tactical gear were stolen from an unmarked vehicle.
Thursday, after a thorough investigation by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office and the Cape Coral Police Department, all agency property was recovered.
Charged with armed burglary of vehicle, grand theft, and grand theft of a firearm were 18-year-old James Terry and a 17-year-old male.
Fox 4 does not identify arrested minors unless they are charged as adults.
