LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Two men were arrested for a home invasion in North Fort Myers that led to a police chase.
Early this morning two armed men entered and robbed a home on Fox Lake Drive and pistol-whipped the victims before fleeing in a pickup truck.
Lee County deputies located the truck. When they attempted to stop it, the driver led them on a chase in which they intentionally struck two patrol vehicles.
A pit maneuver was used to take Anthony Sosa, 24, and Lazaro Calderin, 22, into custody. Both are facing charges of aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, aggravated assault, and home invasion robbery.
