FORT MYERS, Fla. – Law enforcement is reminding drivers in the area of Daniels Parkway that spring training game will be affecting traffic in the area for the next several weeks.
Both the Boston Red Sox and the Minnesota Twins kick of their spring training games Thursday with games against college teams, and the last area spring training game will be on March 27th.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office says that due to the Boston Red Sox’ 1pm game, traffic Thursday near Jet Blue Park along Daniels Parkway should be heavy around 11:30am-1:30pm, and from 3pm-4:45pm.
The Twins then have a game scheduled at 6pm Thursday at Century Link Sports Complex on 6 Mile Cypress Parkway just south of Daniels Parkway.
