LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Lee County Sheriff's investigation this week in North Fort Myers led to three arrests and the recovery of drugs and firearms.

According to the sheriff's office, the investigation began at the Red Roof Inn on N. Cleveland Avenue in North Fort Myers on Monday, following complaints of narcotic activity in the hotel.

Investigators located large amounts of marijuana and THC cartridges in one room, and connected them to a 17-year-old North Fort Myers resident.

Investigators outside that suspect's residence on Grady Drive in North Fort Myers observed 21-year-old Tyler Berrios leaving and conducted a traffic stop on him, where he was found in possession of 29 grams of cocaine.

A warranted search of their home uncovered an additional 137 grams of cocaine, 2.72 pounds of marijuana, 5 firearms, over $5,000 in cash and an inventory of other dangerous narcotics.

The teen was arrested and charged with Conspiracy to Traffic Cocaine, Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Sell, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana With Intent to sell, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Felony.

Tyler Berrios was arrested and charged with Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.

Another resident in the home, 20-year-old Makayla Clemons, was charged with Possession of Cocaine and Possession of a Firearm and Ammunition by a Convicted Felon.
