CAPE CORAL, Fla. — The fifth suspect Denise Maggi, was arrested for her involvement in the death of Kayleigh Marie Mousseau.

On June 7, 2020 around 7:50 pm, Maggi was located in North Fort Myers.

Denise Maggi was charged with tampering with physical evidence (3rd degree felony), mishandling human remains (1st degree misdemeanor), and failure to report a death (1st degree misdemeanor).

Police arrested a fourth suspect, Thomas Bartley, for his involvement in the death investigation of 19-year-old Kayleigh Marie Mousseau.

Cape Coral Police have now arrested four of the five people connected to Mosseau's death. Her body was found along the side of the road in Gator Circle in April.

Police say the death of Mousseau was due to acute combined drug toxicity, and it was determined to be an accident. Bartley was charged with tampering with physical evidence, mishandling human remains, and failure to report a death.

Police arrested the other suspects' John Kaiser, Carl Crowe and Amy Sigears in May.
