Theft of diamond cutting blades leads to arrest of Cape Coral woman

CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- A Cape Coral woman is in jail on several charges after police say she is responsible for a theft at a construction site.

23-year-old Presley Lynch has been charged with Grand Theft, Fraud,  and Dealing in Stolen Property.

According to Cape Coral Police, an investigation was launched on April 12th after a theft from a construction site in the 1000 block of NE 7th Place.  That's where a cement saw and two diamond cutting blades had been taken from the site.

Investigators identified Lynch as a possible suspect, and tracked the stolen goods to a pawn shop where she brought in the items.

Police arrested Lynch at her home Thursday and booker her into the Lee County Jail, where she remains on $15,000 bond.
