Synovus Bank robbed in Cape Coral

CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Cape Coral Police responded to Synovus Bank at 205 Del Prado Blvd South about a Bank Robbery.

Officers arrived shortly after the call, but the suspect had fled before police arrived.

The suspect is being described as a white male, was dressed in jeans, a black long sleeve shirt, and a black baseball cap. The suspect came into the bank and handed the teller a note which demanded money.

No weapon was displayed or seen by the employees within the bank.
The teller gave the male an undisclosed amount of US currency, and the suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction by an unknown means of travel.

Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
