CAPE CORAL, Fla. --- Cape Coral Police arrest a man on drug charges and a stolen weapon after searching his car.
Deputies say the suspect, Aaron Johnson, was sitting in a suspicious car at Saratoga Lake Park after dark.
A K-9 arrived on the scene and conducted an open air sniff on Johnson's car and alerted the K-9 officer of drugs.
After a complete search of the car, Deputies discovered the drug MDMA or "Molly" as well as a stolen .40 Glock handgun, reported stolen out of Collier County in 2015.
Johnson was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance, carrying a concealed weapon and use/display of a firearm during a felony.
