COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — The Collier County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect who slaughtered a horse near Immokalee.
Their crews recently discovered the remains of the horse in a pasture off of State Road 29.
They say someone led the horse to a neighboring pasture, where it was later butchered for its meat.
Detectives believe the crime happened between noon Tuesday and 8 a.m. on Thursday.
