Suspect sought in copper theft in North Fort Myers

LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Investigators are looking for help identifying a man they say stole scrap copper from a North Fort Myers business.

It happened at a business on Mercantile Street in North Fort Myers around 3 a.m. Tuesday.

According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, a man seen on surveillance broke in through a chain link fence and stole a 55-gallon drum filled with scrap copper.

He drove a dark colored SUV.
