LABELLE, Fla. — A man arrested in connection with the death of a local FWC officer in June is now facing additional charges.

The Hendry County Sheriff's Office says 20-year-old Eliceo Hernandez is now facing charges of second degree murder with a firearm, attempted second-degree murder discharging a firearm, leaving the scene of an accident and possession of synthetic cannabis.

Deputies say on the night of June 14, Officer Julian Keen and another man witnessed a reckless driver.
