CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Cape Coral Police responded to the 1400 block of SE 8 the Terrace due to a shooting incident on May 6 th.
Police say the victim told them someone fired multiple rounds into his apartment and robbed him on May 5th. Cape Coral Police say money, a handgun and marijuana were taken during the robbery.
Authorities say the victim told them two suspects were the ones who robbed him.
After an argument, police say the suspects returned to the apartment and fired multiple rounds into the apartment and a neighboring apartment.
Police say Willis Cheatham was developed as one suspect. On June 4, 2020, around 4:40 pm, Cheatham was arrested for shooting into a dwelling.
