CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — Charlotte County Sheriff's Office made an arrest for a series of robberies because of a Crime Stoppers tip.
Shamar Blair, 22, is connected to Marathon and Circle K gas station robberies. Deputies said he was also involved in a robbery at the Peachland Publix in April.
Detectives received information that Blair was involved in the gas station robberies and were able to identify that a blue Jeep Compass registered to Blair’s mother matched the vehicle driven by the suspect.
Blair is charged with Robbery with a Firearm, Grand Theft, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
