Summer Camp Options in Southwest Florida

If you're looking for a summer camp for your kids, there are several options in Southwest Florida.

The Fort Myers Police Department is holding a "Respect for Law" summer camp. It's an action packed four day camp giving kids hands on experience with law enforcement. It runs from June 6th to the 9th. Fox 4 got a sneak peek at what the camp has to offer. For enrollment information, click here.

The Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium will have 10 full weeks of camp for kids of all ages. Fox 4 got a sneak peek of the camp. They have 105 acres of nature trails, 3 planetarium shows per day, an animal show each day, and other activities. The camps starts May 31st.

Lee County Parks and Recreation has a variety of camps to choose from. They are offered on a weekly basis from June 10th to August 1st. For more information, click here.

The Greater Naples YMCA will have weekly themes for their summer camps. They will include activities ranging from arts and crafts, to games and team building exercises.
