LEE COUNTY, Fla. – The Fox 4 Breaking News Tracker was on the scene of a reported school bus fire in North Fort Myers Tuesday morning. Thankfully it just turned out to be a mechanical issue with the bus.
It happened near the intersection of Brooks Road and Lavin Lane.
Authorities on the scene tell Fox 4 that the students were evacuated from the bus as a precaution, but apparently a coolant hose blew on the bus.
All the students were transferred to another bus and sent to school.
