Students at Island Coast High School are taking a hands-on approach in preparing food for Friday's Homecoming football game.

Typically, high school football game concessions are comprised of snacks like hamburgers and hot dogs.

But, Island Coast High School students are preparing tilapia from start to finish for Friday night's game.

Aquaponics students in the Academy of Natural Sciences have a fish farm where they raise tilapia.

Friday, they begin to harvest more than 1,000 fish.  The students will filet the fish, package them, and freeze them.

The fish will then be sold to the public at Friday night's Homecoming game.
