NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla,. - A student is expelled after bringing knives to a school in North Fort Myers.
Deputies were called to Temple Christian School on Thursday after several students found a four inch pocket knife buried in mulch on the school playground.
Students who found the knife reported it to administrators. They also told school staff the student who brought that knife to school had another knife in his backpack.
Administrators then found a bigger, fixed hunting style knife in the students back.
The student, who’s age isn’t being released is described as a white male.
The school’s principal told deputies the student, ‘was in no way aggressive, never threatened any student and did not show any violent tendencies nor was he a troubled student.’
That student is not facing any charges.
The school declined to comment Friday. Administrators say the student has been expelled until next school year.
