LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A 16-year-old student was arrested after posting a social media threat to shoot up a school in Lehigh Acres Thursday.
The student has been charged with Intimidation Write/Send/Threat to Kill or Injure.
Investigators say several students reported seeing a Snapchat post by the teen threatening to shoot up East Lee County High School.
Detectives located the student, and developed probable cause to arrest him after a search of his phone.
