Stranger danger case reported in Lehigh Neighborhood

UPDATE (11/5)-- Deputies have determined that there was no criminal intent in this case.

The driver of the SUV was on his way to pick up his grandchildren from the bus stop. He saw a small child playing on the edge of the road and he stopped to tell her to play closer to the house. The driver is not a sexual offender and is not on the FDLE sexual predator/ offender.


LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. - Detectives are seeking to identify the driver of an SUV after a "stranger danger" case reported in Lehigh Acres.

It happened in the area of Robert Avenue.

The subject is described as being a white older male with white hair.

No additional information is available at this time.
