UPDATE (4:58PM)--
Florida Highway Patrol reported Luis Pablo Ramirez-Mejia, 17 has sadly passed away from his injuries.
According to FHP, Ramirez-Mejia turned left in front of a vehicle driven by Michael A. Franco, 42 for unknown reasons.
The front of Franco vehicle hit the right side of Ramirez-Mejia.
Ramirez-Mejia vehicle came to final rest faced northeast on the east grass shoulder.
UPDATE (2:15PM) -- Florida Highway Patrol now says the crash on State Road 29 at Experimental Road has a fatality involved.
The roadway is clear now, but troopers are still investigating.

IMMOKALEE, Fla. -- Authorities say State Road 29 is closed in both directions for an "extended time" north of Immokalee.
Immokalee Fire says as vehicle crash caused the closure.
It's located on State Road 29 at Experimental Road.
Drivers should avoid the area if possible.
