HENDRY COUNTY, Fla. — A 74-year-old man from South Carolina is in critical condition after being hit by a car.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, on Dec. 21 at 7:45 p.m., a sedan was traveling westbound on State Road 80 on the outside lane when the man attempted to cross the road, just west of State Road 29, and was hit.
He was transported by med-flight to Lee Memorial Hospital.
The driver of the car, a 31-year-old man from Moore Haven, suffered no injuries.
