LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- January 9th is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, and a Florida-based restaurant chain is honoring them with a free meal.
Sonny's BBQ is inviting all law enforcement officers to dine at Sonny’s on Thursday, January 9 and receive a free Pork Big Deal with a valid ID/badge.
Sonny's has 113 locations in seven states, with the majority of restaurants in Florida. In Southwest Florida, that includes one location in Fort Myers on Winkler Road and one in Port Charlotte on Tamiami Trail.
They're also encouraging Random Acts of BBQ nominations for law enforcement officers for their service in great communities. The nomination form and more information can be found here: bit.ly/RABBQNominations. Nominations are open until January 16.
