Sleepiness could be narcolepsy

Narcolepsy is a sleeping disorder, where even if you get a good night's rest, you can be overcome by a sudden feeling of sleepiness during the day.

Dr. Jose Colon at the Sleep Disorder Center says they can help detect if you have narcolepsy. He says, "Number one is identification because otherwise, people may think that it's a mood disorder or being lazy or attention deficit, when in fact they have a brain problem of sleepiness, so the first thing we can do is identify. Other things we can do, is there are some medications that target the sleepiness and help them more alert and improve their quality of life."
