FLORIDA— Southwest Florida Sizzle Week is underway. It’s a program designed to help fund scholarships in FGCU’s hospitality food and beverage program through dozens of restaurants in our area.
Organizers say one of the big reasons people love to visit southwest Florida is for our food, but local restaurants have had issues finding qualified staff.
Sizzle SWFL says with this program, they can donate at least $50,000 a year towards these scholarships.
The list of participating restaurants, along with their specialized menus, is below.
For most restaurants, $1 from every meal will go towards the sizzle scholarships.
You can participate in restaurant week through December 12.
