LEE COUNTY, Fla.-- Six people are recovering after the U.S. Coast Guard saved them from a capsized kayak.
The Coast Guard says dispatchers got a call just before 6 P.M. on June 11th, 2018. The caller said all six people were exhausted and needed assistance near the Sanibel Causeway.
The Coast Guard rescued two men, one clinging to the overturned kayak, the other in the water. The Lee County Sheriff's Marine Unit helped rescue the four women.
No one was hurt.
