LEE COUNTY, Fla. – We’re learning new details about a burglary at a home in Bonita Springs where an infamous murder was committed two years ago.

Deputies say within the last two weeks someone broke into the home on Jarvis Road that Mark Sievers shared with his wife, Dr. Teresa Sievers, whom he's accused of hiring two men to have killed.

Investigators say the burglar ransacked the master bathroom and closet and left broken glass scattered everywhere. But nothing of value was stolen.

Investigators say that in June 2015, Mark Sievers  hired Jimmy Rodgers and Curtis Wright to murder his wife inside that home for life insurance money.  Sievers and Rodgers face the death penalty if convicted. Wright is serving a 25-year sentence after pleading guilty to second-degree murder.
