FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Police and deputies swarmed a Fort Myers neighborhood, because of a shots fired call overnight.

Fox 4 was the only media at the scene.

The initial calls reporting shots fired came in around 1:45 a.m. Thursday in the 3200 block of Broadway Avenue, near Fort Myers Middle Academy.

A Lee County deputy confirmed there was a call for shots fired, but that's all he could tell us.
