FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Fort Myers Police are investigating a shooting that took place Monday morning at Romance Nightclub on Palm Beach Boulevard.
Witnesses tell Fox 4 a person shot was seriously hurt. We know an ambulance was seen leaving the scene.
Police had the entire Park Plaza Shopping Center blocked off by crime scene tape until about 5:15 a.m.
Officers were seen canvassing the area and speaking with witnesses.
We are working with FMPD to determine how many people were shot, the extent of their injuries, and if anyone is in custody.
