CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office wants to remind you individuals need a permit to harvest Saw Palmetto berries.

There have been some changes to this requirement, so here's what you need to know.

The property owner's information will need to be submitted along with the permit.

Crew leaders will need to get a permit, but their day workers will not.
