COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — Collier County deputies arrested a 36-year-old Naples woman for possession of a controlled substance.

Deputies stopped Bethany Clark due to a suspended driver's license and a Lee County warrant for possession of a controlled substance on Friday.

Authorities said Clark had a small bag of heroin on her during the arrest.

She was transported to Naples Jail Center, where jail staff found three syringes at the bottom of her purse hidden between pens.

Deputies said the syringes had a dark brown fluid substance.

The Collier County Sheriff's Office said Clark is facing multiple charges.
