Search is on for suspect who tried breaking into a fleet of trailers

Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for help to identify a man who tried breaking into a fleet of trailers.

Police say a man was seen walking around Frank’s Roofing, at 13828 Palm Beach Boulevard around 1:00a.m. on Friday, April 7th.

Surveillance video captured images of the man walking around the property for about an hour, trying to break into multiple trailers. Detectives say the suspect was tampering with several locks but was unsuccessful.

The suspect is described as a white or hispanic male in his early 20’s, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, red pants and black Nike shoes. His face was covered part of the time with a white shirt but as surveillance video shows the suspect removed the shirt at one point close to a surveillance video.

Anyone with information on the identity and whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
