CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — Progress may have been made in the search for a Charlotte County woman who disappeared in 1995.
Investigators said they found items of interest while searching for Christine Flahive on Friday.
Her case is being treated as a homicide now, deputies said. The Peace River K-9 team and FGCU staff searched near Fairway Drive and Indian Creek Lane.
