FORT MYERS, Fla. — Some of the metal sculptures in Downtown Fort Myers will be relocated soon.

The city says Council and the Public Art Committee agreed to move some of the Edgardo Carmona pieces to the city's other five wards.

Eight of the sculptures will stay in the downtown area. They've been there since 2016.

15 will be relocated to "art hubs" three for each ward.

The city says moving the pieces is expected to take through the end of the year.
